Football and Roma gUG presents the association FaR
and its work
in the
Evangelischer Kirchentag in Stuttgart from 4. - 6. Juni 2015.
Far has its own stand. You may get informations
of the several projects. You may discuss with the FaR people.
In addition you may see and be able to buy textiles that have been
produced by
Nähwerkstatt Zauberfaden
with refugees of Schorndorf.
Action on a voluntary basis of Football and Roma in Skopje
In February 2014 there was a three weeks holding on action of
Football and Roma in Skopje, Mazedonien.
In this turn the students of teacher training Manuel and Markus
of Freiburg spent a part of their holidays together with the
Non profit Organisation
Ambrela in Suto Orizari, the biggest Roma Community in the world.
Their luggage consisted of soccer clothes and shoes for the children in
Suto Orizari. They gathered the material in sports clubs that dispensed used
things.
During their stay Markus and Manual offered soccer training activities
and supported the daily business of Ambrela (Ambrela runs a kindergarden).
The goal of the stay was the preparation of a long lasting soccer project for
children in Suto Orizari. This should be an enlargement of a former engagement of
Football and Roma in Suto Orizari: together with Ambrela a soccer team was founded
that played in the season 2011/2012 in the loocal liga.

Soccer Competition October 2014
In october 2014 FaR organized a competition of refugees in Schorndorf. It was
a full day of soccer and being together as it is usual with soccer people without
cultural and social walls at the soccer place.
