Our football projects are designed to realize the following goals:
To learn how to play soccer
Participants of soccer training teams are to learn basic
techniques as well as team tactics.
They are to be encouraged to make active sports part of their lifestyle.
The skills of a sport augment their internal resources,
improve their behavioural resources and their problem solving ability.
Placement of children into local soccer clubs
Teaching of social skills
We attempt to improve participants' discipline, team
skills, their willingness to accept responsibility and to
stimulate their conflict solving ability
and boost their self-esteem by soccer.
These values and social skills are after all important
for their careers and integration into society.
Specific initiatives are:
to build up and to support soccer training associations who offer training under
competent guidance for children and young people free of charge.
to support the set up of soccer teams or informal training possibilities for this
target group.
to ensure financial support of soccer projects for this target group by local football
associations.
to promote the integration of Romani children and young people into local sports
associations.
